knit up

This week, I will finish
work on this feather-light "shawlette". 
This has been a very enjoyable project and 
the finished work will be a gift.  

Here are the yarns that i used
to make the shawl . . . 
they're both by Madeline Tosh.

This photograph, below,
was taken at the end of April, here in Montreal.
It's hard to imagine that this was merely two months ago.
We've had a hot and steamy week - 
it's amazing how quickly things change.
